Classic Rock Christmas brings together some of the most lauded, timeless Rock artists of our era and pairs them with traditional, beloved Christmas anthems.
Among the participating acts are Little Richard (who Rolling Stone ranks as the 8th Greatest Musical Artist of All Time) performing a tender version of "Santa Claus is Coming To Town", Pat Benetar singing an acapella version of "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas" and The Beach Boys wistfully harmonizing an interpretation of "We Three Kings” back-to-back against soul legend Marvin Gaye, who performs an original composition titled “Christmas Hitchhike.”
Also featured here is the work of country legend Bobby Helms who's skillfully penned "Jingle Bell Rock" first became a hit in 1957 and had the good fortune of reappearing on the charts four of the following five years, cementing it’s position as a Christmas music mainstay. Classic Rock Christmas features rare, early Helms at his holiday best.
